L'auberge de Tamazret
In the heart of this idyllic village is L'Auberge of Tamazret: a courtyard surrounded by thick stone walls, 3 guest rooms, an underground dining room and a terrace under the South Tunisian sun, offering an unlimited view of the Grand Erg.
Our challenge was to arrange the existing house in such a way as to be able to offer our guests rooms with a different character:
-"Oumema": our suite, installed in the rooms of an old grocery store.
-"Toumadir": a room with an incredible view of the southern hills.
-"Dahya": dug centuries ago in the rock of Tamezret.
The kitchen of the Inn has been arranged to offer our guests a complete view of the preparation of our dishes.
And for those who prefer to get down to work directly, we offer various cooking courses.
